Croeso

I spent another weekend in Wales
over the last May bank holiday..

Warm welcome as always in Wales.

This time the warm welcome was at the Irish/Welsh vintage tractor run which is an annual event ran by a sweet old farmer named Henry Dixon, it alternates between being held in North Pembrokeshire to Wexford, Ireland. It was quite a random thing for me to attend, I heard of it through my sister who helped promote it through a tourism project she is working for. It was actually interesting and inspiring in a way, to see almost 300 vintage and pimped up tractors, all those participants, around 100 of which came all the way from Ireland, all to raise money for charity and because they are passionate about keeping the culture of the vintage tractors alive. The bonds between the Welsh and Irish participants, sealed by passion and tradition was beautiful to see.

Druidstone

The lovely Druidstone hotel

A perfect place for afternoon tea, the food was so good, the atmosphere is lovely there.
The place just has this magic vibe. I would love to get married there if the capacity of the house was bigger.
